As container facilities become more and more automated, fewer and fewer personnel are required for operation. Although this provides economic and safety benefits, it also requires that the technology deployed be highly available to meet the needs of the operation. For that reason, APS offers unrivaled support and maintenance programs designed to provide scheduled preventative maintenance as well as extended hours monitoring and onsite technical support within 4-hours. To maintain the highest system availability possible, APS employs a host of monitoring and alert software tools in addition to an email and web-enabled Help Desk System.
The foundation of the program and key to system uptime is proactive remote monitoring and support coupled with regularly scheduled preventative maintenance routines conducted on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This approach enables APS resources to catch most events before they become problems resulting in costly terminal outages.
APS maintains a staffed monitoring center at our headquarters in San Diego, CA to assist with the real-time monitoring of all systems.
