The APS Automated Gate System (AGS) provides a flexible, IP-based
solution to fully automate the processing of entry and exit traffic at your
container facility. As an integrated suite of modular hardware and software
components, the system can easily be configured by terminal personnel to
control all types of operations simultaneously – from simple, remote gate
control to a fully automated, manless operation. This flexibility maximizes
the return on investment by increasing the throughput capacity, efficiency,
safety, and security of gate operations as your volumes grow.

OCR Portal: Automated ID of vehicles and equipment, including
containers, chassis, license plates, and HAZ/IMO labels

The Gate OCR Portal provides the identification, classification and inspection of containerized cargo and equipment without stopping traffic flow. Most OCR or operational exceptions can be resolved remotely via the X-Clerk GOS prior to the driver’s arrival in a lane at the Gate Kiosk. Remote personnel can then complete driver identification, data collection and voice communications without the driver exiting his truck. Designed for each terminal’s unique requirements, the Gate Kiosk integrates modular voice, video, printing, biometrics and other data collection components into an ultra-industrial, all-weather enclosure.
